The University of Saint Joseph Mbarara (USJM) fraternity gathered at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Nyamitanga Cathedral, for the Inaugural Mass of the 2026/2027 Academic Year, celebrated by Archbishop Lambert Bainomugisha.

In his homily, the Archbishop welcomed students and encouraged them to pray, study diligently, work hard, and make good use of the opportunities before them. He also urged students and young people to use their phones and social media responsibly.
He further emphasized the important role of the University administration and staff in guiding students towards academic, personal, and spiritual growth.
