USJM Hosts Academic Forum on Intelligent Design Through the Lenses of African Scholars

The University of Saint Joseph Mbarara (USJM), through the Office of the Academic Registrar, in collaboration with BioCosmos Uganda, hosted an engaging Academic Forum on Intelligent Design through the Lenses of African Scholars.

The forum brought together USJM management, staff, researchers, students, and distinguished scholars to explore the relationship between science, faith, origins, human life, and biological complexity.

The discussions featured insights from Rev. Fr. Dr. Deus Karemire, Vice Chancellor of USJM; Prof. Charles Tesyewe, Vice Chair of BioCosmos Uganda; Isaac Mutono, Administrator at BioCosmos Uganda; Dr. Joel Isanga, Treasurer at BioCosmos Uganda; and Dr. Barbara Nerima, Board Member of BioCosmos Uganda.

The forum encouraged participants to engage critically with questions surrounding origins, intelligent design, scientific discovery, and the role of African scholars in advancing knowledge and research.

At the conclusion of the event, BioCosmos Uganda presented books and T-shirts to the University, with additional learning materials made available to support continued exploration of topics related to science, faith, and origins.
