Daughters of Divine Charity Mbarara Visit University of Saint Joseph Mbarara
By: Ismail Athman -- Nov. 13, 2024, 6:23 a.m.The University of Saint Joseph Mbarara had the privilege of hosting a distinguished delegation from the Daughters of Divine Charity Mbarara, who paid a courtesy visit to our campus. This special occasion fostered a warm exchange of ideas and reinforced our shared commitment to community and service. The sisters were graciously received by Rev. Fr. Assoc. Prof. Mbyemeire Patrick, our dedicated Deputy Vice Chancellor, who welcomed them on behalf of the university.
During their visit, the sisters had the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions with Rev. Dr. Deus Karemiire, our esteemed Vice Chancellor. Fr. Charles Mutabaruka, our Resource Mobilizer, also joined the gathering, sharing insights into our university's vision, mission, and the ways we strive to uplift our community. The interactions focused on the values we hold in common, particularly the dedication to education, compassion, and fostering a spirit of service that extends beyond the university grounds.
As a Catholic institution, the University of Saint Joseph Mbarara holds close ties with faith-based communities, and visits like these are a testament to our collaborative spirit. We are grateful to the Daughters of Divine Charity Mbarara for their time, warmth, and interest in our work, and we look forward to further building this relationship, knowing that together, we can make a positive impact on our students, staff, and the wider community. This visit reminds us of the strength we find in unity and the power of shared purpose.
